Visiting Presidio Andy Goldsworthy land art Nov 12th 2014

After I left Sonoma and stopped at Marin Headlands, my friend took me to the Presidio as my request to see Andy Goldsworthy works. The Presidio is a large area of park that is used to belong to US Army post and the army residence until 1972. Now it is a part of the National Park service but for the historical reason, the houses are secluded and the road is like a maze but there is not many parking lot for the visitors besides the visitor center and the office areas.

There is a free shuttle that is called, Presidio Go!, I see in downtown everyday but there is only few stops in downtown and I did not have a chance to ride on. 
So I asked my friend to take there. We were looking for the Andy works together. 
There is 3 locations for his works but we found only one which is the tall triangle three tower that is stood behind the Golf Course. 

I hope to see more of his works next time…

Open Studio nov 8th 14

I went yesterday and got a nice print and the artist who made it saw my photo postcard and bought it for $2. It was like exchange and it was good. 

It is last day today!

アーチストの作品見て回りました。

歩き過ぎて疲れた…

版画で気に入った作品があって、思わず買ってしまいました。

アーチストと話をして、自分の作品も見せました。ポストカード気に入ってくれて2ドルで買ってくれました。

交換ぽくて良かったです。

コラージュを木に貼っていて、「なぜマットと額にしないのか聞いたら」（確かに木は重いし）とすごい納得してくれました。

いい会話が出来て良かったです！

Visiting ArtSeed @ Noe Valley

On Nov 2nd I went to Art Seed I met ArtSeed founder Josefa Vaughan andRaymond Coats and other artists who work there. I used to do internship (volunteer works) at Art Seed at Presidio and Hunters Point school and other places for helping to teach children and help documentation and clean their studio at Hunters Point 5 years ago in 2009. I was still at AAU Academy of Art University, but I took summer off and did internship for my own experience. 

I contacted Josefa to see her again and see the art studio of Noe Valley. She said it is her friend, photo journalist guy place but it is now open to pubic and use as an artist studio. 

I should have gone by bus that go close to the place but I went by a train muni and walked from there and it took me more time than I thought and they almost leave the place. But I was able to join listening to the black singer, Raymond songs. 

ArtSeed はart 系NPO organizationで５年前にインターンに行った所で、新しいアートのレジデンシー施設が出来ていたので、（サンフランシスコ郊外の丘の上の住宅地にある、創設者の知り合いの写真家の家）訪ねて行って創設者のアーチストのジョセファと５年ぶりの再会をはたしました。すごく喜んで頂き、作品の本とポストカードも置かせてもらい、なぜか彼女のいらない服迄頂きました？！
ジョセファはすごいフランクでいい人で、以前行った時はうちまで招いてもらってディナーに呼ばれました。
ジョセファの知り合いのミュージシャンが招かれていて一緒に歌を聴かせてもらいました。

逆行で見えにくいですがNoe Valleyめっちゃ景色のいいところです！
車ないと大変ですがここ住みたい！

後ろの大きい家を見ていたら。。

ArtSeedは隣の草木に囲まれた古くて可愛い家でした。
ArtSeedらしいですが、中はこぎれいで地下にはアトリエも写真の暗室もあります。
２−３人は泊まって作品を作れると思います。
子供の絵が沢山飾ってあって可愛かった。

自前のマイクとカラオケで急遽ライブが。。

founderのジョセファ、年齢不詳、格好若い！
５年ぶりで会ってすごく懐かしがってくれました。
ちょっとウルッときました。(T_T) 

サンフランシスコはあちこちがボコボコ丘になっている地形のようです。
とにかくいけどもいけども住宅地。。
ダウンタウンは小さいですが、サンフランシスコ市自体は奥深いです！

I was using a film camera and finally I had a chance to make CD. I developed it but the photo store did not make CD (even though I asked for it) but they just made regular prints.... (=_=)
So finally I went to another shop and made CD, so I got jpg files to upload images.

I ruined one rolled of film so I don't have many of my work photos but I have other people work and other women artists.

やっぱりフィルムの色味いいなあ〜。。
