I was using a film camera and finally I had a chance to make CD. I developed it but the photo store did not make CD (even though I asked for it) but they just made regular prints.... (=_=)
So finally I went to another shop and made CD, so I got jpg files to upload images.

I ruined one rolled of film so I don't have many of my work photos but I have other people work and other women artists.

やっぱりフィルムの色味いいなあ〜。。

She did very quick!!

OK they made a slide show for Nov 1 Land Art which I was invited. I could not just post the slide show so I just post their site here.

Ok I just PC snapshot from the slideshow of the photos that I am in.
スライドショーから自分の入っている写真をアップします。

I used the place called, "volcano" just because I am inspired by Japanese volcano and also the Ontake san mountain disaster just happened a month ago? about eruption and mount slide and I made the scene out of the concept using sheet of color tissue that made as a strip of paper and connect with shine blue beads that might reflect with the sun. And scrape the dart around it to make lines.
And I happened to have same pink color of an umbrella and a bucket so I put them as implication of Sun and it's reflection.
It means human being cannot fight with the natural disaster but only the sun of god knows. It is like Shintoism or native belief about believing in nature and follow what they are asking to do...

日本語で簡単に。。
たまたま？「火山」というニックネームの土地があったので、それを借りて「御岳山の火山」をイメージしてランドアートを作りました。
それを作ることで祈りを捧げられたら、と思いました。

心機一転

アート活動に専念するためネット英語講師は辞めました。

昨日メールしたら夜中に返事が来ました。

これからはもっとイベントに出展したり、作品作ったりしたいです。

機会があれば海外のレジデンシーもしたい！(^-^)/

I painted from setting up photograph at bathtub. It implies a chaotic, disaster situation of family.

あひるちゃん。。

実は津波からinspiredした題材。自然災害で逃げ惑う人間をイメージしている。

I made a book cover with recycled paper.

Japanese guide nap, Mr Doughnuts paper bag.

出かける時に持って行く本用に集めていた紙で、ブックカバーを作ってみました。

Land Art Day

I happen to join this group (NCWCA), doing land art in Bay Area CA on November 1st. 
Haven't done land art only a few times, so I will study about it before I go... 


今月末からサンフランシスコに行くと報告したら、
フレンド（サンフランシスコ在住アーチストさん）にランドアートデイに誘って頂きました。
ランドアートは好きなジャンルですが、自分では少ししかやったことがないので、ちょっとランドアートについて予習をして、案をねって行きたいと思います。

my atelier

Right now our family altar room has become my art stuff storage... including paints paper, mail art small stuff... finished paintings.
But I was painting in my room bringing the easel to my room.
There are more paintings and new/old but discarded canvas in my closet also. lots of stuff! 

現在仏間が自分のアトリエというかアート関係の物置みたいになっています。笑　書き終わった絵とか絵の具とか紙とか折り紙とかメールアート用に集めたものとかがたくさんあります。
絵やさらのキャンバスとかはこの他にも押し入れにしまってあります。

「遊牧民」「漂流者」という意味

私も同じです。

漂流しながらアートを作っていければ、と思います。
