Younite Tour　サウスカロライナ　ギャラリー展

Younite Tourの展示のポストカードが出来上がりました！

1月９日から２５日迄のAiken Center for the Arts での展示の分です。
作品はギャラリーがyounite tour 選んだアーチストでサイトにのせている作品の中からギャラリーが選んだものです。
私の作品の一つも選んで頂きました。そこで売れなければ違うところにも引き続き展示される予定です。

Younite Tour project自体は年間プロジェクトで参加しているキュレーターが選んだ作品をキュレーターの計画した時期と場所で次々と発表される予定です。キュレーターはプロのギャラリーに限らず企画希望の方は誰でも参加出来るようです。

Younite Tour is a project to show art from around the world.

The YOUnite Tour is currently represented by 52 countries around the globe!

The call was from 2 years ago and the nomadic project call and choose artists from around the world. And I was invited via my artist site. Every artists who are chosen are able to post 3 works at most with the fee. Kristin, one of the founder of the Nomadic project choose my Train Seats for her own show and also introduced it to Aiken Center for the Arts in South Carolina.

The Normadic Project: YoUnite Tour 来年展示準備

夜中に目が覚めてfbを見ていたら見覚えのある絵を見つけた。アメリカに送った絵だ。おひさ〜。

Normadic Projectのページで私の絵とポストカードを紹介してくれていた。

来月、2013, 1月9日から25日迄アメリカ　サウスカロライナでthe Aiken Center for the Artsさんでグループ展がある。それの準備をしていると書いていた。そこで売れなければ違う展示にも参加させてもらえる。自分自身はいけないので世界の裏側で見守るだけだがなんとなくそわつく。。

元はと言えば、去年Normadic Projectさんが私のアートサイトで見つけてくれてメールして来た。世界中のアーチスト、１国１人選んで１年間キュレーターに選んでもらって展示するという企画だが、applyするか？、というものだ。

彼らのプロフィール読んでも普通の仕事しながらアートしている普通のカップルだが、違うのはYounite Tourの前の、nomadic projectでアメリカ１州１アーチストの作品を選んで展示していた時のビデオをみたが、彼ら二人が車に乗ってアメリカ中を旅をして、その間にギャラリーなどに電話をかけて企画にのってくれるか掛け合っていた。砂漠の中で立ち往生なんてシーンもあったり。。
えらい営業力というか、自分には出来ない。。

この行き当たりばったりさが面白いと思ったので、参加してみることにした。参加費もネット登録料だけで高くはないし、なにせ自分が日本代表みたいになっているので、カッコいい。(^_^) アートのなでしこJapanみたい〜。

雑草みたいな自分にはあってるん違うかな、と。。

My items sold on Saatchi Online 売れた作品

My items sold on Saatchi Online.
A person who lives in Japan bought 6 of my works from the online. It is my first time that I sold on Saatchi. So first I need to do process of the US tax deduction by filling in the form. Lucky I have SSN# so I save 30% tax. I sold both 3 originals and 3 prints. I am sending my buyers.
