Show at gallery Quint-Essences 

There will be the show at gallery Quint-Essences in Switzerland from 6-19th Sep. with other YOUnite Tour project artists around the world. It is probably about 15 art world there.

They just sent me information and cards by email. So I am sharing the information.

I am not able to visit the gallery, but if you are around, please visit.

As I searched on the net, the place looks nice, as a tourist resort and it must be fun to go there!!

Birdnest connected (still in process)

Ok, so the 5 small next and 1 large nest are connected. As it is a concept of earth and 5 continent. I connected 5 small nest with paper string.

This is what I sent to Switzerland today as a part of Younite Tour project. I think the group show will start from September 4th.

Good advise from the gallery owner in Osaka which I should put my work in a frame. After I got the frame and put my work in it, it looks much different and looks more professional. 

I want to visit Switzerland myself. I should be cooler than Japan definitely. I saw the gallery is in the mountain area,so.

paper bowls for art project

I am making some art for the birdnest project.
I tried to make birdnest with recycled paper and added from it to complete my work.

These are bowls that made out of recycled paper, washi etc. from made out of small bowls. 

This paper bowls made out from bigger glass bowl, after I strugged with 6 of small bowls.

From here I will do more collage on to the bowls. I think I will connect other bowls together as one work. I may or may not to use tofu plastic case for more addition.

英字新聞でエコバックを作る。7/24/13

地域のクラフト作家さんがワークショップをしていたので、勉強がてらに行ってみました。

本当は子供さんの自由研究が目的みたいでしたが、大人も、一人参加も出来ると書いていたので。

Soho Art Galleryの搬出 額装について

展示をした絵の搬出に行きました。
ポストカードはいくつか買って頂きましたが絵は売れませんでした。

絵はすぐに飾られるようにするか額装した方がいい、とギャラリーのオーナーに指導を受けました。普通はそうするんだけど、展示サイズがあって、２つ飾ろうと欲張ったので額なしにしてしまった。スペイン人のオーナーにIt's weak. と言われた。なぜか英語で言われた方がへこむ。プレゼンちゃんとしなかったらいい作品も買ってもらえないよ、と言われて本末転倒と反省。１作でもちゃんと額装したら買ってもらえたかも。。

ちょっと落ちたが、次への参考にその流れで画材屋に行って額装の仕方をいろいろと教えてもらった。いろいろ聞いてメガネの方の額を買いました。反省をそのままにすると忘れてしまう「いてまえーっ」て感じで行って、「どんな額がお好み？」って聞かれたけど、いきなり行ったので正直わからなかったので聞きながら考えていました。
いつ飾っても人にあげてもいいように、定期的に今ある作品の額装していこうと思ったのでした。

今までは節約でネットの額屋さんを使って自己流でやっていたので、久々に直接いろいろと額の仕方のコツを教えてもらって、まだまだ知らない事多いなー、と思いました。

画材屋さんの店長なのか詳しい男性の方、カンサンジュンに激似。めちゃ声がいい。♡話し方も丁寧。姜さんが２０−３０歳若くなった感じ？
...って姜さんいくつや？
