Orange in frame !

I got the frame done and picked up yesterday. They wrapped up carefully so I cannot take out the plastic. ButI think it looks good with the frame than bending paper painting itself.

This is ready for sending to art mania gallery in Yokohama. 

AAU Fine Art auction

I just decided to participate join Academy of Art Unversity Faculty, Alumni Fine Art auction. 

I will let people know how it will go the selection and exhibition.

Hommage to Weston drawing out of Edward Weston photo

以前売れたドローイングの絵ですが、
Hommage to Westonという作品です。

Edward Westonを知らない人がいたので、
Weston はアメリカの写真家なのですがシカゴ出身でカリフォルニアで活動していた写真作家でカリフォルニアにいた時に習ったのですが、野菜やヌードなどの描写のデザインが気に入っています。

Now it is done. I added some advertisement paper as collage and add more watercolor and pastel.

6/13/14 two paintings...

I paint Oranges in watercolor. It is almost done after painting in pastel to touch up.

And I also paint with watercolor on B&W photograph which I printed on ink jet watercolor paper.

It amazed me that the photo of the ink does not come off even I paint with thin watercolor with a lot of water. That means the paper is as the same as watercolor paper. Yes, it is Mi-Teintes Canson but for ink jet photo paper. Cool!!

水張りのコツビデオ。。

写真を木製パネルに水張りする事にした。
初めてなので参考になるもの探してみた。
このvideo無声だけどわかりやすい！

多分気をつける事は、（ビデオの場合は画用紙ですが）外注プリント写真なので写真が湿ってもいいか不明なのであまり濡らしすぎない事だと思いますね〜。
